Plated is a social listening and notification platform built around UK vehicle number plates. We aggregate public posts that mention a plate — as a hashtag, in post text, or as a direct mention — and present them as a single, readable conversation.
If someone has posted about your driving, your car, or your plate online, Plated finds it and tells you. We're a neutral aggregator of publicly available posts — not a shaming platform.

Do I have to own the plate to track it?
No. There is no ownership verification — you can track your own plate, a celebrity's, or a vehicle you keep seeing on your commute.
Where do the posts come from?
We retrieve publicly available post text and metadata from social platforms. We link back to every original post and do not host the content ourselves.
Is this a shaming site?
No. Plated is a neutral aggregator. We surface what is already public — both the good and the bad — and provide a report mechanism for posts you believe are inaccurate.
Is a number plate personal data?
Under UK GDPR a plate is not personal data in isolation. The email and preferences you give us are, and we handle them under standard GDPR obligations.
