What Plated is

Plated is a neutral aggregator. We index and link to publicly available third-party posts that mention UK number plates. We do not host the original content, we do not author it, and we do not endorse it. Plated is not a "shaming" platform and must not be used as one.

Posts shown on Plated originate from third parties on external platforms. We make no warranty as to their accuracy, completeness or legality. Any opinions expressed in those posts are the authors', not ours. You rely on third-party content at your own risk.

Acceptable use

Tracking plates

There is no ownership verification: any user may track any plate, and multiple users may track the same plate. Tracking a plate does not assert ownership of, or any rights over, the vehicle.

Reporting & takedown

If you believe a linked post is defamatory, inaccurate or infringes your rights, use our report a post form. We review reports and, where appropriate, remove the link from Plated. Removal at source automatically removes it here on the next refresh.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Plated is provided "as is" and we exclude liability for losses arising from third-party content or from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

Changes
